Mounting and Service

Our engineers concentrate on designing simple and functional products that can ensure fast and user-friendly final assembly, adapted to the type of train. Efficient mounting procedures help minimise costs for our customers, allowing them to become more competitive.

Door systems are usually supplied as 4 units consisting of the door mechanism, door leaves, base fittings and (if relevant) mounting rails. The door mechanism is delivered complete and function-tested. Quick and functional electricity connection is provided by a multi-pin plug.

Our project managers and experienced FERRO personnel can come to the working site to advise on set-up, testing and adjustment. Based on the customer’s specifications, our Design and Product Development department will also be happy to write mounting guides and service manuals with instructions and tips for setting-up and maintenance.
